If Pamela Anderson's shapely allure ever fades, at least she's been cast as shimmering, scantily clad twins for a new London art exhibition. The life-sized polished bronze statue, titled 'The Ecstatic Autogenesis of Pamela,' is part of British artist Marc Quinn's series showcasing people "who have transformed their appearances," the UK's Coventry Telegraph reports.
he former 'Baywatch' and recent 'Dancing With the Stars' vixen told the Guardian that she loves Quinn and his work. "I didn't even ask what he wanted to do with me. I would have done anything." She likes that the finished product is "raw, not perfect. I think that's what makes it interesting. Sexy isn't perfect."
Of his inspiration, Quinn said, "What Pamela has done is use surgery and transformation within the mainstream cultural context, whereas everyone else in the show has struck out on their own."
Two large Michael Jackson heads are on display as well -- one white, one black. Quinn fashioned a life-sized Kate Moss statue in 2006, casting the model in a contorted yoga pose in bronze. He called the piece 'Sphinx.'

The Coventry Telegraph says the White Cube gallery-based exhibition aims to explore the public's obsession with the human body. "You've got people who have decided to change the outside of their bodies to fit how they feel inside," Quinn said.
Which would explain why the artist created statues of transgender porn stars Allanah Starr and Buck Angel. The Coventry Telegraph likens Quinn's 'Buck and Allanah' sculpture, in which the pair stand naked and hand-in-hand, to classic images of Adam and Eve.
